What began as a quiet evening ritual slowly evolved into something more profound. My “mom hobby” – making clay earrings for family and friends – had blossomed into a rediscovery of who I am not just as a new mother, but as a woman and an artist. With the gentle rolling and shaping of clay, I created harmony between these identities with each piece of jewelry I made.
While I draw inspiration from minimal, contemporary designs, each jewelry I’ve crafted carries subtle echoes of my Philippine heritage: the delicate patterns of native weaves and the vibrant colors of nature that defined my childhood. These details aren’t just decorative — they’re reminders of where I came from and who I’m yet to become.
The name Amias means “beloved” and is my son’s middle name. I named my shop AMIAS as a tribute to my son and the sense of renewal and inspiration he’s brought into my life. Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for supporting us.
